trinidad song circle we meet every sunday nite, starting about 6:30 (tho i usually don't get there before 7pm), until 9:30 or 10pm, in someone's living room. penne o'gara is our leader, jane robin does the weekly email to let us know where we'll be gathering. rise up singing is our songbook, tho there are also multiple copies of a homemade songbook with lots of other songs, & sometimes folks bring copies of lyrics for songs not in either book. we sit in a circle & take turns picking a song for all to sing; sometimes there are instruments, & sometimes we're on our own. this is good medicine! |
