with dr. chan on 7 november
the biopsy
results indicate "serous carcinoma", apparently a type
that usually originates in the ovary, so that means maybe cancer
in ovary, fallopian tube, AND uterus. nastier & nastier.
dr.chan said he usually prescribes post-surgery chemotherapy
for this type of cancer, no matter how much they take out.
at every
step so far, when new information arrives, it's always been the
kind i DIDN'T want to hear. so of course at this point, i'm praying
THAT pattern has run its course, & after surgery i'll be
getting some of the good kind. still no date for surgery, am
waiting for a call from his scheduler. |
