at home with
the family meant hanging out with the kids, of course. which
is what i went for. david & lucienne were both out most of
every day, so i got to be fullon granma, & i loved it. for
a long time, alex called me "washu", which turned out
to be "carolynsue" (our cousin who lives around the
block, the other old white woman in his life), but by the time
i left, he had a recognizable "pamela" going. we'll
probly have to start all over again next time. |
