all shook up... that "M6.5" at the top means magnitude 6.5, a big one! shook up to the south of us anyway, -- westhaven is very stable, thankgoodness! i was standing at the kitchen sink, just held on for the ride. it was fun, 'cos nothing was shaken from shelves. wouldn't be fun if stuff started breaking. outside, it was perfectly still, no breeze at all, but the redwoods were swaying... eureka times standard   los angeles times
